Seriously, though, it's great to see the ladies join in on some of the Wii/video game action. Need more. Maybe they will realise that it's not so daunting being in arena that use to be mainly guys.

With casual gaming it's 3/4 women buying casual games with a 50% split in terms of playing them. Casual gaming is about 10% of the $30 billion dollar industry.

Well no because Halo would have a different split in the demographics, the ESA stats I mentioned above would take into account everything from Halo to World of Warcraft to Yahoo! Online Chess and everything in between

That being said I know Team Fortress 2 attracts a significantly higher level of female gamers than most online FPS'

The Wii is for kids that think like this? OMG, I'm losing brain cells.
I'd better go and buy an adults console, a PS3

Could this be because the Wii is a 'fun' console? That girls are more likely to invest their time in something that is fun, rather than something on the more serious side? Makes sense I suppose, but I'm sure there are a lot of guys out there that look at games the same way.

Yeah, unfortunately EB do this a lot. My local in Greensborough had a friend of mine working there. She is a great girl who knows games and computers, more-so than the rest of the staff there.

They sacked her and hired a younger slim-line model who knew nothing about games at all.

But then again, this is EB and we all know they suck.

Oh, and she wouldn't sleep with the manager either, that may have contributed to her sacking.

Well, it's no wonder that the common sensus is that girls don't have a clue what they're on about.
But, I guess, if there are girls out there that are willing to subject themselves to being used as a tool to attract customers because of their looks, if they can handle being looked upon as nothing more than a body instead of having to actually use their brains, then is anyone really in the wrong? Apart from the sacking of the one with brains, I mean.

lol I have a lot of the GTA games too. I love killing the people.

And in San Andreas I love the gang wars.

Especially when I've taken over all the gang areas.
