Does anyone here remember a SNES game called Terranigma? Not sure if I've asked before, but it was a really good game, I think there were about three all up.

Great story behind it etc, really addictive. I haven't checked the latest VC games available, but if it's not there it's definitely over due to become a VC game.

I've never brought a game console before
I am planning to buy it (just put it on lay-by today because they need to order stock in), because of Wii Fit.

On computer I like Tycoon games and Sims (yeah My Sims), but really not enough of the games interest me most aimed at females seem to be for those under 15

Anyone have suggestions of games I might like?
I am not interested in killing anything or sports.

Are you interested in puzzle-type games, or quests, or games that you can pick up for five minutes here and there? It depends on your interests. There are lots of good games that don't involve sports or killing.

Boom Blox - a puzzly-questy-mini game thing, where you do various things with towers of blocks. Part Jenga, part bowling, part castle siege.
Rayman Raving Rabbids - a fun minigame collection where you do various fun things to strange, mutant rabbity creatures. If you don't have hours on end to play, it can take a while to unlock all the party games.

There are also Sims-type games as well:
The Sims on Wii aren't as good as the PC version, because you don't get the fun expansion packs. They're good for a week or so, though.
There's also Thrillville: Off the Rails, which is a nice theme park sim game. You build a theme park, rollercoaster etc, and keep all the park patrons happy (or not, if you're into destructive play!).

Endless Ocean is liked by some people, though I haven't played it. It apparently involves swimming around, taking photos of fish.

There are also games coming out in the next few months which might interest you, like De Blob. You can check these out in the "Games" section of this

People say to me, "Oh, you're a girl, you shouldn't be playing Guitar Hero, or Halt Sick." Is there not a freedom? LOL, games with Mario are OK, as long as sneaky boys don't go st
earotyping. [

Thrillville sounds pretty good, might get it. Is it a good game as in addictive?

I've been hanging out to get a game that you can't put down for ages, but since MK haven't had any luck

For me though, Mario games tend to keep me interested more than any others... don't know if that's cliche or not but oh well

Super Mario Galaxy kept me going for a while, and Boom Blox was addictive - mainly because most challenges are fairly quick, so you keep thinking "just one more..." (and then you look at the clock and it's 2am)

I'm not sure if Thrillville is addictive - I must confess I haven't played it yet! It's been on my to-get list for ages, tho. *blush*

I hate it when games sound good but then turn out to be lacking in an "x-factor" to keep you addicted.

Thanks for letting me know Thrillville isn't as exciting as it sounds
