I take it you want everyone's opinion on the "Girl Gamer Revier Icons"?
Where do I start....
I think we've proved so far in this thread that girls that play games do actually exist, and are in far greater numbers than we all would of guessed. The common sensus seems to so far be that seeing a girl playing any form of a game, popping up on the net gaming, owning a console, shopping in a game store, is kind of like a novelty. A case of "OMG it's a girl".
What I personally was hoping to do with this thread, at least on this site, is do away with the novelty that we seem to be. The only way I see of doing that is making all the manly men realise that we're not that uncommon, we do have just as varied a taste in games as guys, we're just people that like to play! I felt it was needed to be able to say that we are here, thereby making us as much of a part of gaming culture as the guys, on equal ground.
These little icons say (from behind my eyes) that reading this review will give you a completely different view on the game because it's a girl. But that's not right. It will be a completely different view than someone else's review, because it is coming from a different person, just the same as the difference between any two male reviews.
