Edit: Gonna aim to have some photos up today as well, lots of really amazing stuff there, original sketches from Mario's creator Shigeru Miyamoto, pre production paintings of the sims, a GTA3 baseball bat.... oh and the entire sketch board that was used to plan out GTA3 lifted directly from Rockstars offices. It's in the video too but it kinda needs to be still to really look at it.

I don't know, one guy was a bit rude to me there once, but the next time I was in there he was super nice so maybe he was just having a bad day the first time. The rest of them at my local store have always been pretty friendly! I do agree they're a rip off though, I only ever go there if I'm price-matching because the other store doesn't have it, or to get a cool little pre-order freebie like my little Zelda tin

As for my local EB, the girls there are so helpful but the old bald guy is just usless.
He doesn't seem to know what going on with anything.

Just another reason I don't believe your sex effects your love for or ability with video games.

She put the idea in my head that girls get treated differently even at the point of purchase.

I guess that depends on how convincingly you can be dressed as a female! But you're right, the only thing it would show is the reaction to someone who is 'freakish'. Or they might see it as the joke it is. Or you could end up getting hit on! haha! There's a pro right there.

I guess the only way to truly know if there's any discrimination towards females would be to film both a female and then a male going into the same stores, asking the same type of questions.

But honestly, I've never really seen it first hand. I'm not even too sure if I believe it happens, or is that naive of me. I always believe that you'll get treated how you act, go in there expecting to be treated differently and you probably will be.

Start a thread and have them post their preference then. That way you can make sure you get the numbers right and that they are girls.

That would make sense wouldn't it?
