Respect for her I have. Respect for boys who fish for girls based solely on their physical appearance I do not have.

If I stepped in to a thread and asked to talk to the guys who look like Brad Pitt, I'm sure there would be some who weren't amused.
This is a thread for girl gamers to talk about issues relevant to girls and gaming. Not a thread to pick up. Go over to the social threads if you want to do that.

My first time playing a console was back in the 80's at my cousins house. He had just got this new console and didn't want us girls to play with it coz he thought we would break it. It was the Nintendo and a game called duck hunt! oh and Mario too. Couldn't get pasted the first 2 levels on Mario (My husband laughs at me all the time for that) but boy did I like shooting at the ducks what would have been more fun if i could have shot that dammmmmm dog that took my ducks!
Every time we went over we wanted to play and my cousin would hide it so we would sneak into to play it with the sound off when he found us he got mad and told his mum, not that it did him much good coz she said we could play it.
I really just loved shooting the ducks. lol
After that it was a while before i played games again.
Would always see ppl with gameboys the grey ones but never had one.
Then i meet my husband!!!!!! Well it all changed after that! Every night the boys and him would stay up playing games on pcs every weekend all night that's all they did, of course this was back in the days of 486 and no wireless networks! They would play shadow warrior and doom! I would watch them play and one day i said hey i want to play too! At first i was easy kill but i got better. And really started to enjoying shooting them all up lol. Red alert was another fav of mine i had watch them play and one day while my husband was out i got on his pc and s

My husband is a mad Nintendo man from the first one back in the 80’s as a child he used to save up to buy super play and has every one to this date along with all his Nintendo stuff(all working as well)
We even have a snes pad that we plug into the pc so we can play pissed street fighter on an snes Emulator.
Our five year old sons loves bomber man that he plays with a snes control pad on the emulator.

After going to a friends place and playing rayman raving rabbids 2 and a shooting game i had to have one!!!!!!!!!! so with in a week i got myself a wii and i also got link's crossbow training and ghost squad and i love it! I have finished crossbow training with platinum medals in each level. Its such a fun game. I can once again shoot at my TV lol lol. No one can watch tv coz i have to play my wii.
