Yeah I missed that one too. I've known girls that would kick his arse so hard at video games that his balls would shrivel up even smaller than the sultanas they are now.

hehehe that reminds me of when I was younger. Going to a friend of a friend's house and kicking his arse at Tekken, I never owned a PSone but loved that dancing dude (was it Billy?). It was even funnier when he "stopped going easy on me" and I still kicked his butt. he he he

Same thing happened with Tetris SNES, but the guy was already a friend and ended up being so annoyed with me that he hardly ever spoke to me again. He spent nearly a whole day trying to beat me, to no avail.

I just thought of a brilliant idea. I'll become like a Pool Shark. Lure unsuspecting guys into playing me in a game, then take all their money when I start betting them I should try that when Mario Kart is released! Or would that be evil

Of course it's PR. Everything they do is for money, getting people on their side by making them think that they care about their consumers, and not just their money, is a way to gain respect for their company. More respect, more people buy. More good publicity, more respect, more money.

But I don't care what their overall goal is from this, because it's good for every gamer out there. I think the gaming industry is something that a lot of girls wouldn't even think of getting into, even the gaming ones. Having something as public as this, and from such a huge company may just give girls the balls to try and strive in such a male dominated industry.

As I said in the article, having more girls behind the scenes will give us a broarder range of games, appealing to more people, not just the girls. And to think that maybe we could have games aimed at us that aren't frilly and pink, sounds very tasty indeed.
