Yep full on no items period tounament. Sounds like it's a bore but it's still as exciting as it comes down to pure driving skill!

lol, yeah you gotta have a good level of consistancy. Kartmania and Funky are pretty equal with me i'd say so try racing them aswel

Yeah. I can't believe how addicting it is, I haven't played since I have had brawl though, which is a worry, I love Brawl especially play with Cameron, setting items to only Home run Bats and putting rate on high, so fun...

Well Im over karts

I decided that I was going to go back to my favourite - Baby Mario in a standard kart. I couldn't buy a win.

I don't play to win but I do atleast try to be competitive. When it feels like I am driving backwards because everybody on a bike can easily zip past me it kinda defeats the purpose.

So from now on Im only racing with bikes (no item tourny rules aside).

Trying to get used to Yoshi too. As much as I love Daisy, kinda feel weird racing as a girl called Trevor

I know how you feel, I also think I should switch to bikes soon, even though I don't want to because I think they suck. But they're just faster.

Hey Lynx, long time no racing lol. I lost my 9999 rank the other day through some item rapidge lol down to 94ish.... ill get it back there with a good solid session.
With the comp your right i havnt looked at it for a while.. been so wrapped up in online races with mates and no items lol AND SSBB single player space missionary thingo... man busy times!

haha. yeah. and i picked them up. gone from 8800ish to well over 9300.

i saw sternzie lose some of them too as i was waiting to join the race he was in when he got item raped. i have to say he copped it sweet. nothing he could do

EDIT: EPIC PHLAIL. two item rapide races then a dc. from 9400 to 8500 in 3 races. and i was only getting about 30 points for each race = 30 hard earned wins destroyed

Yeah Jack, its heaps bad! i lost over 500 actually lol, that would have been from getting raped in no more than 3 races! ha ha also for a win i usually get no more than 30 points at this rank! haha its a long slug to get it back!

Well Ive completely lost my form and Im back to racing ordinary.

Just stupid mistakes like htting items lying on the ground or turning into walls. And then I have to drive faster to make up for it and make even more stupid mistakes. Oh well. I'll pull through it.

Just raced against Huuie on a continent race. Arent you happy that we got to play Luigi's Circuit 5 times? I mean once is never enough...

I'm so unlucky when I play online. I was on 6400 points, and after about 10 games I was at 5800. That's when I stopped playing worldwide and played continental, now I'm 6400 again.

I remember once I was on the final lap of a race and near the finish line. I got a big mushroom and zoomed past everybody to first place, then BOOM; I got hit by a blue shell. I came in 7th I think.

It's like Karma, when something good happens to me something bad happens straight after. Probably the most annoying thing is when you get hit by a red shell and then a bullet bill comes out of nowhere to ram you off the track.
