I was second, first had crossed the finish line so the blue shell targetted me. I got hit between the last zipper and the finish line. 8 racers flew past me and I lost 230 points

The Sprinter, also known as the B Dasher Mk. 2 in Europe and Australia, is a medium-sized Kart which appears in Mario Kart Wii. Only middleweight characters can drive in this kart. Its appearance is based off of the Formula One cars and is the improved version of the B Dasher. The Sprinter appears by unlocking 24 Fast Staff Ghost data or 3000 online wins.

Was doing some research on 3 star rank if anybody is interested:

1. Get first in all four race course (though others claim that it is possible to get 3 stars with less than 60 points)
2. Staying first for the majority of the race.
3. (Do not) Falling off the course more than once. (others claim that getting hit by an item that results you in falling off does not count - though I'm skeptical about that)
4. Avoid going off-road as much as possible.

Also:

1/ Amazing Lap Times on Every Track (Spend most of your time drifting and (if on a bike) pulling of wheelies)
2/ Stay in 1st Place 90% of the time
3/ Earn 60 pts in the whole Grand Prix
4/ Almost Never touch the grass ( or areas that slow you down)
5/ Avoid as many items as possible (Equip yourself with a green shell as a shield or a banana)

Other claims:
Attack as much as you can. ie: Use lots of items and try to hit the computers. I usually drop an item just before I get a newy.

I have unlocked all expert times, I have a two star ranking, I have three star ranking for all mirror courses and five 150cc courses - all using auto.
