I got a three star ranking and I have only used manual once or twice ever.
I use a medium character and the Mach bike.
A star ranking depends on how well you drive.
Stay off the dirt, dont hit obstacles or powerups on the ground, dont fall of cliffs, stay on the track for as much as possible, mono on every straight and drive as fast as you can.
You wont get punished for being hit by blue shells, red shells or other cheap items but you must be in first place for the majority of the race.



Thanks heaps for your help! Most of the time I do well, and have memorized most tracks. I got it on saturday, its now tuesday and i've finished 150 cc, 100 cc and 50 cc all first place in those cups except 150 cc on two cups. Now im working on the stars to get bowser I'll give it a shot. I think I need to watch some videos to find some short cuts.... I don't know the maple tree shortcut?

And that's how I unlocked all the expert staff ghosts in April.

People keep saying how hard Shy Guy Beach was. It only took me one try after seeing the World Champion's. Just use light weight character with Magikruiser (which what I always did ) and stay on the water, boost on one of the grassy areas to the water. Very simple.

No need. Go to rankings, go to world wide, press A on the leader to download their ghost, watch the replay.

I agree with Funky. Too much asking for something that can easily be found out.

It doesn't give me a headache, I just get annoyed by it.

Awhile ago, I finished all GPs. I got gold cup in all of them, though I don't care about star rankings.

I still don't have all bikes/karts..

LOL, I use to be 9th. I can't remember what time it was though. I think it was 1:16 or 1:14 or something.

Though this was probably a month ago.

I just thought it would have been easier rather than have to wait to download the video, it wasn't of utter most importance though anyway.

I know that alot of people may be asking about shortcuts but theres alot of people that don't know. I know that no matter how hard someone tries you're always gonna get someone asking you. Just saying of course, because i've been in the same situation for a few things like that where people kept asking me stuff.

Yeah, the torpedo's the fastest bike, though the bowser bike has better handling.

Currently, I'm 0.005 off JeromeTEC's time in the lightning cup mario circuit.

My best is 1:24:101 and he's on 1:24:096. That makes me third in the continent, though NOBUO has a freakily good time.
