Yeah, its not too bad. Even if you loose as long as you score enough yourself you'll still get points.. i havnt seen anyone with a ranking in the 7's yet though.. ive just gotten into the 6's for battle. Im so upset that you can only get9999 as a max for either..

Nintendo took a right turn when they first created Mario kart 64. I always played it before they started coming out with newer ones (Double Dash; Mario Kart Wii; you get the idea.).

Hmmm... wonder if there can be another Mario Kart after the Wii version...?

This is what I would do.

1/ No blue shell or cloud item
2/ Drifting (manual only) and boosting from jumps, but no boost after drifting or during a mono.
3/ Instead of the same courses in every class (too repetitive) I will do the following:

50cc - SNES and N64 (with track cheats patched)
100cc - DS and Double Dash
150cc - Wii and 4 exclusive cups

4/ Ability to use two licenses online instead of one so both players can go for points.

doubt it theres usually only one mario kart per console generation but then again it was released pretty early in the wiis life so who knows
