I use Diddy Kong with the Mach Bike because he has good mini boosts.

If your in an item raping room on WFC, toadette and bullet bill is the way to go, where it lacks in top speed, the acceleration makes up for it.

TT's = FunkyKong....Funky is the fastest character....however you need to be consistant and not bump into things/get hit as his acceleration is dodgy.
