Tonight I'll probably try to unlock the rest of the vehicles and characters. Only two time trials left!

yeah daisy is the way to go... i only use peach atm because im doing my second license to get it to 9999... im on 9905 atm so no point in unlocking anything new on this one... after this ill be trying to get my 3rd one up to that

I use Diddy, Daisy is for the weak who need that boost to win.

Why are all my times worse than Unlock? I've already unlocked almost every expert ghost ...

Unlock should be the times of the NORMAL ghosts that you start off with.

Unlock is the time you need to unlock the expert ghost.

I have included this because a very common forum question is "What time do I have to get to unlock the expert ghost on xxxx track?"

I have also included the expert times so people can see how many they have beaten and how many they have left to go.

Including the normal times will be pointless.

Okay, but there is no official unlock time, they can be random sometimes. I unlocked the expert ghosts even when my time was longer than Unlock's times.

I ditched the Wii Wheel for the Gamecube Controller now, and it's so EASY! I gotta practice a bit more though ... still getting the hang of doing tricks and wheelies.

The only question now is should I use Peach or Daisy? [on the Mach Bike]

I like Peach because she has good acceleration and drift with alright top speed, but Daisy has good top speed, better handling and mini turbo.

Hmm ...

For time trials, my advice is Daisy (if you are using a medium character)

For online races, you dont need Daisy so if you are more comfortable with Peach then use her.

I think for all time trials the leader is Funky Kong on a Bowser Bike for curvy courses and a Torpedo for straight courses.

This translates to Mach Bike for curvy and Nitrocycle for straight for a medium character.

Mach Bike is best online because you cant use a Nitrocycle on curvy courses but you can use a Mach Bike on straight courses.

Thanks for the great advice.

I already knew Funky Kong with the Bowser Bike and Torpedo was the best for time trials.

For online I'll stick to Peach, because she's got good acceleration and drift.
