Resident Evil 4 - 8/10

Now there arn't many games out there that make me anxeious and sweaty when i play them. but this one definently does.
It is down right spooky. It makes you really worry about getting killed. (in the game that is)and makes you concerned about the main characters, something that to me anyway, does not happen often.
Now i have the Gamecube version and loved every scary minute of it but after all the comments of the Wii version i just had to get it. And im glad i did.
This is a welcome remake/edition to the series and i could not recommend another game before this one.



It leaves the other RE games in its dust and with the Gamecubes graphics, it still shines as a Wii game.



In the 4th installment of the series you are in control of
Leon.S Kennedy, One of the few survivers of Raccoon City.
Leon has been sent on a mission to rescue the presidents daughter, Ashley. Who has been kidnapped by a cult somewhere in spanish-speakin Europe.



The controls have been revamped to incorporate fast-paced gameplay and feature cut-scenes in which you use the wi-remote to avoid/dodge/jump features in the storyline.

Now unlike previous RE games there are NO zombies.
All the foes are humans under the influence of a
parasite referred to as "Los Ganados" this means they attack faster, throw, shoot and do anything to kill you which makes for a much more exciting and action packed game.

i Love this game and cannot wait for the next installment.
it is one of only a few games that you come back to and play again and again, just to get the crap scared out of you.
And it never fails to scare you even when you know whats coming.

There are a few new feature's added to the Wii version that include:
*Seperate ways(a 5 chapter Mini game)
*Ada's report (a 5 part doco)
*New costume Set
among other things.



I highly recommend you try/buy this game even if you hated the previous Resident Evil games, as this could stand on its own.It has rekindled my love of horror games and in writting this review, i want to go and play it now!!!!
