I never understood why people wanted LCDs on their cases. I think that if your tower is on your table, it's taking up space that you need to stay ergonomically sound.

We're not talking about picture sharpness. We're talking about the actual display resolution you've got it set to. Those icons are gigantic.

Oh man.

No no, I mean the icons, they really are gigantic in comparison with all the other on-screen elements. You've got only seven icons in a column, and I can fit more than twice that many on my desktop at my resolution.

You shouldn't need to spend too much — basically, if you have a TV with PC input, you probably got the VGA cable with it.

D-DVI is better, but to properly use it you need a graphics card with D-DVI output and a TV with D-DVI input, and most TVs only have VGA input. You can also use S-Video input, which sucks, or HDMI input, which you can pull of with a VGA-to-HDMI adapter on your graphics card.

And you would hook up your surround sound speaker system to the PC audio card.

So again, costs peanuts.

It either sounds like your USB drive is trying to suck too much power from your PSU (perhaps it's naturally energy-hungry, or you're trying to put a USB 2.0 in a USB slot), or a problem with your mobo.

It is very highly unlikely that it is a virus or something similar. I know we should be able to get this working. I'll help you out on msn once you get back on when i'm next available.
