Wii Sports - Taking sport to a new level - 8/10
The first thing I did after unpacking my Wii, was stick in Wii sports. I was expecting to have to spend ATLEAST 10 minutes adjusting to the WiiMote, but it didn't even take that. The brilliant thing about this game and the Wii in general, is just about anyone can pick it up and get straight into pretty much any of the games.
Story - There is no story, just getting scores and playing around with friends.
Graphics - The graphics may not have intense bump mapping, or graphics intense particle effects, but it sure does look great in its own comical way. This may not quite fit in graphics, but the Miis playing in the game adds to the effect, and they look just right.
Gameplay - Majority of the game consists of swinging your arm in some kind of direction, to hit a ball, roll a ball, or sock one of your friends a big one in the face. This makes for some variety, in the games which anyone is capable of picking up (even my 8 year old sister, who beat me in bowling).
Sound - The sound is suitable, nothing super special, its average.
Multiplayer - This is hands down some of the most fun this gamer has ever had playing multiplayer on a console. Theres nothing like vs'ing a few of your mates, or even family members, in one of the many games.
Skitz Note - I would highly suggest you to pick this up, but no doubt you all already have this. So in that case, round up some friends, order some take out, and if legal, get a few drinks, because you are in for one fun ride.
