Commander Pierce and Colonel Windsor of the Anglo Isles have launched a strike on the Coral Atolls, and the world is at war.

Players will be transformed into a cartoon soldier at the forefront of the battle.
Drive tanks, command ships, fly planes and direct your troops into the heart of the action, control everything from tanks and helicopter gunships to naval battleships and submarines, and deploy an array of different soldiers.
Your basic infantry is made up of rifleman, flamethrower soldiers, bazooka units, assault units, anti-air soldiers and mortar units.

But remember, the most important thing is to pay attention! Tactics are everything, if you lose focus, you run the risk of having your valuable units wiped out, and that’s never a good thing.

With Battalion Wars 2 players can battle against other people from all over the world using their Nintendo Wi fi, or they can join with their friends to play cooperatively in skirmish battles and assault modes.

Battalion Wars 2 is a 3rd person, real time war game. It features 3 online multiplayer modes: ‘Assault’ - one player simply defends a base while the other attempts to take/destroy the base within a time limit, ‘Skirmish’ – same as Assault but with no time limit and finally ‘Capture the Flag’ – where players (up to 4) duke it out and capture their opposition’s flag.

BWII’s gameplay (apart from the controls) and graphics are similar to the GC version although with noticeable improvements made on the characters and environments, creating a more realistic experience for the user.

Yeah, it's a shooter in the third person and you command and/or take control of the units around you however you'd like. From what I've heard it has all kinds of multiplayer. Split screen, Wi-Fi, V.S., and even Co-Op.

The one for the Gamecube was a great singleplayer game. If you're a fan of advanced wars, than it's even better. The only problem with that one was it had no multiplayer, but this sequel makes up for it with even WiFi. Can't wait for this.

Got it about a week ago. Pretty nice. Decent graphics (all be it a cartoon like spin), fun gameplay, replay value, nice story line. Pretty much all the goods. And to be fair it is one of the first Aussie online Wii games.

Just rented it because I was thinking of buying it. I highly enjoy real time based strategy games like C&C. However I didnt care much for the game play of this game. It combines a first person shooter with a C&C type structure. I guess I just couldnt get into it. Graphics are nice. Game play seems decent. Just not my style. Story line is awful. Plus they have a auto aim. So what the hell was the point of maken it feel like a first person shooter if no aiming is required. Over all just not impressed.

It's not a first-person shooter, it's a third-person shooter. Third-person shooters usually have an auto-aim, especially if they're console games. You just didn't know what you were looking for.

Not really a sequel in terms of story but both this and Battlion Wars 1 on Gamecube play exactly like Advance Wars and I believe that the same folk make them, I have both this and Advance Wars and they are pretty much identical

I have this it's very fast paced and hectic sometimes a bit to much. The cut scenes are gay but most of the gameplay is fun! It's usually really easy for like a whole level and the you get swarmed all of a sudden and die. Havn't played the online yet is it good?

No offline multiplayer sucks. Online loadtimes are endless and most matches end with a connection error. Campaign ok though and matches are really fun when they aren't being broke up by connection errors.

yes and no, you get the differnt ppl that have there own guns same goes with the vehicles but the gameplay is like a 3rd person shooter
