MyWii Feature Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Can't wait for this game. It's coming out next month. Unfortunately it's not WM+ compatible due to money constraints so it might be a flop, but according to www.planetcricket.net it's alright.

It's been trimmed down graphics wise and feature wise and that they've made it into a hit and giggle type game where you can go for your shots. That's probably what I want for wii. How cool would he be to play a slog sweep or pull shot! Hopefully the next version is WM+.

Is the wii version any good?
I loved it, its good on single player but its awesome when you are playing another human player. The controls are simply amazing like how you can shine the ball with the remote to affect swing.

To bowl you bowl the delivery like you would in normal cricket, and to spin it you would bowl it as a spinner would.

What is it like to bat? Can you play most strokes? In the air and along the ground? cheers mate.
Yep but it depends on the rating of the batsman, if he has a good rating then he can play all the shots a poor rating gives him a limited amount of stokes. You can hit in the air and along the ground and also nudge singles into gaps through defensive strokes.

This looks quite decent, definitely on my list after I play through the next two games I am getting and then after I find some money around the place..

.. a shame you can never find those $2 coins under arcade machines anymore.

No, because only expats would buy the game and no Americans would get it. It would be a complete waste of money.

Agreed. Apart from the cricket game on Big Beach sports (which had crap controls), we've seen no cricket on the Wii, which IMO is the perfect console for a cricket game.

There's beach cricket on a game called World Sports Party or something like that. Probably terrible as well.

Wii Sports Resort should have it considering it's on an island. Shame they wouldn't know a cricket bat from a picket fence though.

I don't think it is. It still supposed to react well to your movements though. It says in one of the qoutes from the first post.
