2. They actually have a WII fanbase

I reckon the game will be a fun game. the different ways to hit the ball and such it will be like a less controlled from of baseball on wii sports. But i believe it will get reppetitive if there is only the one mode, i'm interested to find out what they do to make the game have more long lasting appeal.

The appeal of cricket games comes from the variety of strategies you can use to score or prevent the opponent from scoring. It's about choosing the right shot for the right delivery, playing it correctly (timing) so that you avoid the cannily placed fielders. Like any sport it's only as deep as your understanding of the finer points of the game. If your knowledge of cricket is deep your options and plans of attack are deeper. If your knowledge is sparse it will seem boring and repetitive, but don't blame cricket for this, blame your own lack of knowledge regarding the game. I find soccer boring because I've never played it and wasn't raised from youth to understand it but I still respect other peoples right to enjoy the game and be passionate about its finer points.

I think I'll just wait for the Oz release. I still have to sink a few more hours into Wii Sports Resort before I expand my stable yet again.

I'm sure it will be an entertaining game for most people when first played. I'm just hoping it has many game modes to match the fun of the real game. I'm not saying that cricket is a boring game to play because i like playing cricket. i was making reference to how it is to watch and how a virtual recreation of the game could ruin the potential of the game

Up top i was refering to watching the game and how the experience might be like how it is shown.
the second comment is saying i like the actual game of cricket and thats why i'm concerned about what the game will turn out like for me . . read correctly and stop starting fights on this thread
