Did you do what I said and update from the SSBB disc? I need confirmation...

Use DVD+R DL.

Verbatim is a good brand. There's also Imation, which I have been using a lot. I just bought a stack of TDK's, so hopefully they will work fine.

Prices range from $4-$10 for each disc. K-Mart, Big W, Target and Officeworks usually have them for the cheapest price.

Just make sure your burner is a fairly modern one, as some of the older, slower burners will not burn Dual Layer discs.

you can't do Layer Break with a DVD-R DL and yes like Phat said Verbatim are the best

yes i turned off the wiikey update blocker and ran the update from the disc. but i made sure i had the latest update before doing so. sorry for taking so long to reply, i havnt slept since getting it to work .

1. Yes you need to update.

2. No, you don't need to use Brickblocker on it. Since you NEED the update and for Regionfrii, I'm not 100% sure, but I used it anyway.

It shouldnt matter if your console is updated or not really, i sent mine not updated and when i got it back i done so and everything has worked fine.

Yes thats correct, Theres to discs, one with the firmware for the falsh, and one for the config disc.
