No you can't find that out...since it is in stealth mode...if you havent updated it you could ask your modder what version they might have updated to...

Although come to think of it, that game is notorious for always screwing with the player's head, so it might be nothing.

Yeah, I've heard some GC games are screwed up again. Lucky for me I don't play any GC games.

I think I got myself all set up to play-I've got wii firmware 3.2E, wiikey firmware 1.9s and the original Brawl. Is all I need to do is turn off the update blocker using the config disc, let brawl update my wii to play DL DVDs and then play. Is that what you did Wiioff? Or can someone else correct me if I'm wrong?

You probably have as you said you changed it to 50hz. Just something rings a bell for 60hz. Probably the GBATemp Compat List.

i beleive thats the dual channel issue i've read about.

as it turns out its only the adventure game part thats in slow mo, normal arcade/fights are fine, allthough there is some clipping aloong the edge of the top of the screen.

Nah-you use IMGBurn and burn it onto a DVD-R and run it.
If you have the original Brawl, can you tell me how it works if you can? Coz i'm getting mine (hopefully) next week and i want to be able to play it straight away

I'm getting the original though. i want to know if I have the steps right-Update wiikey to 1.9s and wii to 3.2E, turn of update blocker on wiikey, put in the original brawl, let it update and vola!
Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

EDIT-Now that the config disc has been released, can anyone help me and tell me the settings have on the wiikey to START brawl for the first time?

Id reccomend using filechop just incase, there is reports of shorting the life of the wii laser by running discs that are below 1.35gb!

I'd like to run my copy flawlessly without crashing (the screen cut offs dont worry me)
also i was told it could be my Wii laser that is causing these problems.
Will nintendo clean it for us aussies free of charge (like US/Jap)
and if they do will having a wiikey cause dramas?
if so how will i go about cleaning it myself?

Do you have the original copy? Coz i want to know the setting of the wiikey I should have-obviously your's worked with default...
Also, do you have it at 60Hz, or 50Hz and did you turn off deflicker?

I don't know-I downloaded the 1.9s update but it says it's the 1.9x update...I hope i did it right
Also the config disc has 1.4 on the screen. But they look the same as the pics shown at the start of this thread.
