i read up on that and when i put in the config disc, it was already on.

dunno wat to do.

not that im aware of a couple of mates just installed wiikeys and went straight to 1.9s

The drive doesn't read CD's so no. Sort of like putting a DVD in to a CD player. Really it doesn't matter now anyway, they're around the same price anyway.

Just, as far as I understood things all DVD drives could read CDs. Obviously different with the Wii.
