Defeating Master Hand
Master Hand uses a variety of techniques but almost all of them are easy to avoid if you look for the warning signs. When Master Hand shakes, he is about to grab you. Likewise, when it forms into a pointing finger, it is poised to attack. If you move away, Master Hand follows, but he pauses briefly before both of these attacks. To ensure that you are not cornered when Master Hand attacks, wait a few seconds after you see him shake or form into a pointing finger before you begin moving away.
When Master Hand moves to the screen's middle and points straight up, move away from it immediately. Boosters shoot out from below as he lifts off like a rocket. He then comes flying in from the background. Roll or dodge to avoid the attack. Use this sort of defensive tactic whenever Master Hand ever goes into the background. If Master Hand forms into a fist and begins hovering above you, remain still for a few seconds, then begin rolling or dodging.
When Master Hand stays to one side of the stage and begins shooting lasers from each finger, roll to avoid the lasers and maneuver underneath him. Since the lasers are unable to reach directly underneath Master Hand, it is perfectly safe to attack from this spot.
After every attack, Master Hand moves back to the right side of the stage and pauses before the next attack. This is the best opportunity for a counterattack and to do as much possible damage as you can. Aerial smash attacks work the best to inflict alot of damage in short amounts of time.
Crazy fights very similarly to Master Hand but with a few additional attacks. When Crazy Hand lays flat on the platform, move away immediately. Shortly after it lays flat, it wiggles around, inflicting damage to anybody close to it.
Also, Crazy Hand will drop bombs onto the stage. When he does this, he will swiftly go side to side dropping them. Try to jump over him when he comes your way. Another thing is the spider walk, where he attempts to flick you off the stage but it is very simple to jump over him.

Be careful when you are standing between the two hands, because they have powerful combination moves. When they clap or crash into each other in the form of fists they will put you to sleep long enough for them to perform the move on you. The third which is when Master Hand catches Crazy Hand as a fist is alot quicker than the other two and if you are not careful, you can easily get hit by it. The best thing to do is hang around one of the hands below or behind them, but try not to stay in the center for too long.
