Guitar Hero 3 - Legends Of Rock - 10/10

Well,

We have all heard about it, some may have played it... but how many people want it?

My answer to this question is "well, everybody should" I have been playing guitar hero 3 for most of the day andas someone who has never played a guitar hero game before I have found it to be a very enjoyable and often "heroic" experience.

Gameplay:
Jamming up on stage along to some of the best guitar music rock has to offer is great fun and I'm sure you will soon be imitating *insert favourite guitarists name here* as you get drawn in by the great tracklist and simple pick up and play game mechanics. I would have to personally say that for any Rage against the machine/audioslave fan the battle with Tom Morello is one of the high points of the game jamming to an original composition he supposedly wrote just for the game.

Graphics:
The graphics look fantastic for a Wii game, while of course not up to the high standards of ps3 and 360 games it is definately the best looking game I have seen for the Wii yet. The animations are quite well done, the drummer looks a little stiff and out of time occasionally, but why look at that when you have to concentrate on the fret board for the next note


The tool of rockiness

Controller:
Wii remote functionality is implemented well, it senses when you tilt the guitar upwards in classic rock fashion to activate "Star Power" letting you get some always welcome extra bonus points, also the remote speaker plays all of your little "stuff up" sounds making it seem more like you are actually there. The whammy bar feels strong as does the rest of the guitar controller, which also unclips at the neck for easy storage.I also noted no lag whatsover, though there is an option in the game menu to correct it if you do get it.

Sound:
One word, Fantastic. Great line up of songs, including Paint it black, paranoid, welcome to the jungle, sunshine of your love and many more new and old tracks.

Conclusion:
In my time with the game I have not seen a single problem as mentioned by others, but that is not to say I wont run into any, I have not tested multiplayer or online functions at time of writing so I will update when I can or maybe someone else could do a writeup on that part for me.
Overall a great game, and worthy of any Wii owners game collection
Thanx activision for a truly fantastic Wii game. I'm sure you saved alot of people from their despair at having nothing but bad releases on the Wii
