Ben Feder who is CEO of Take-Two has recently in an interview been asked about GTA Wii. He was asked if it a Wii Version was being considered for the Nintendo Wii in which his reply was: I can’t comment on it, but obviously we have one of the best selling third –party games on the Wii in Carnival Games from 2K Play, so we know the Wii pretty well. We’re building up assets to develop for the Wii and we’re excited about its growth. I can’t comment on GTA specifically on the Wii… He then stated that porting titles on the PS3 and 360 won't be a winning strategy for Take-Two as they prefer games that take advantage of the hardware aspects available to them on the platform. He then went on to say that they would rather have innovative and creative games then just a lot of ports, that although will bring in the money, won't satisfy Take Two as much. GTA Chinawars was then a game he spoke of which is an upcoming Nintendo DS title that will take advantage of the platform. Full interview here: www.gamedaily.com/ So how do you feel about Take Two not wanting to port games but make original games unlike some developers, such as Capcom, who port and port and port. Also is GTA on Wii something you want even if it isn't GTA IV or a port of a previous title and does this 'Can't Comment on it' thing mean that something may just be in the works.

MelStorm said: It wouldnt really work well at all. It would need to be sized according to the wii and the game has no use for the wii's benefits either. I think perhaps making something else specifically for the wii would be the go this way Rockstar can do what they do well and not be restricted by expectation set by GTA IV on 360 and PS3.
