Ok, these are the Pokes I caught at the Safari Zone on my first try:

Golduck, Magneton, Jigglypuff, Nidorino, Goldbat, Bellsprout, Misdreavus, Haunter, Stantler, Poliwag, Bellsprout(hit BALL instead of RUN), Geodude, Nidorina and Marill.

I think I did good!

When he sent me a Zangoose, it was carrying a lucky egg. Thanks to this item and KK's generosity, my Magmortar is leveling up like there's no tomorrow!

After I'm done with Magmortar, it's time to level up my Tyranitar. he's only on 80 for now.

I just keep battling the Gym leaders, my rival and occasionally the E4. I prefer battling the Gym leaders and my rival more because at least when you're done with a battle and want to go somewhere, you can.

Not with E4, you have to defeat all 4 and Cynthia before going somewhere. That's why I have to plan ahead if I know I'm not going to be capturing more Pokemon or trading with anybody.

Yeah, one time I was about to trade and I realised I was hafway through the Elite Four! I stick to fighting Gym Leaders now. Also, I really hate how your rival just stands there like an idiot if it's not on the weekend, why can't we fight him once a day like everyone else?!?

I know right, if you talk to him on the weekdays, he says some ghey stuff and you move on. Have you tried just changing the date? I'm too lazy to to find out.

Hmm, I think the game knows if you try screwing with the date as all time based events don't work for 24 hours, it sucks, but it least it's not like PM: TTYD if you try to cheat the lottery...

Also, I is your HG/SS rival still awesome or did they make him crap like all the new rivals?

Damn, and you get an assload of EXP from battling your rival too.

Your rival in HG/SS is pretty much a ****ing douche. He's believes Pokemon are all about power and whatnot, just like Paul from the anime.
