I still dont get y they put Phanpy as the main character or a partner in the game... just why nintendo?

I saw Meowth could be deadly later on in the game since it can learn many diff moves from a TM like thunder bolt

Why put Vulpix? Why put Meowth? Why put Riolu? Because they appeal to different people, and one of them might be someone's favourite Pokemon, and also their reason to play the game. Personally, I fell in love with Phanpies when I got it as a Pokemon Card.

Omigawsh! I finally bred my very own shiny Phione by using the RNG Reporter! It took me most of today to do this.. It took forever to find my correct Secret ID and several tests.. Only about an hour ago, I realised I did some of the calculations wrong.

What makes it more great is that no haxxawring was involved! I luckily found a random shiny Staravia, shortly after finding about this RNG stuff. Now I can breed totally legit shinies. Wheee! =P

It doesn't really look that different from a regular Phione, it's just a little lighter.

Erm.. Well both Manaphy and Phione hatch from eggs, =P but if you mean the one that is hatched from an egg when a Manaphy and Ditto breed with each other, then yes. =P

But yeah, cool that you got those shinys, I haven't encountered any so far in Platinum (apart from the ones I traded for) but I remember having the shiny Ryhorn/don and a Clefable in Gold, and was THIS close to getting a Tangela (the bloody thing ran away), not counting the Red Gyarados of course.
