News \ Update: Red Steel 2 is NOT coming out

No Red Steel For You
Despite yesterdays news post on Red Steel 2, there has been no confirmation that the game is under development. The article where the news originated from is a French site several months old (available here in it's original tounge) basing it's confirmation on job listening through Ubisoft.
At the end of the article it featured an update reading (through BabelFish) "Aaaaaah! Panics at Ubi Soft... Telephone call to the drafting: "What? Who confirmed? Even not true! One never confirmed nothing!"... "

Having crashed that party, here's what we do know.
Ubisoft have been posting job openings this year for a 'Senior Game Designer' to play a part in the '..continuation of the Red Steel Project.'
Along with that the job posting also ask for 'RPG experience', a new side to Red Steel perhaps?
Ubisoft also owns a trademark in the US called 'Fighting Steel' which some have linked as a Red Steel sequel. That being said Ubisoft does already have a budget World War II navel game out at the moment by the same name, which may explain the trademark.

Beyond those two, that's pretty much it for the Red Steel sequel front. Both of the above facts are quite old but if anything new comes along, you can bet MyWii.com.au will be the first to let you know.

If you see it for cheap, it's worth a play if your patient enough to grasp the controls system, not bad for a early title but nothing special.
I was hopping for a part two that would fix the controls and graphics issues from the first game.
