Woah ho ho! Let's all relax max... deep breath.
Don't be so reluctant to think that Nintendo cannot be changed. Unlike most other gaming manufactors and developers they listen to both gamers and statistics alike. For all we know there could be a thing they use in these games called 'options', in these 'options' game prefrences can be altered like for instance *scratches chin* 'scoring type'? To immediately dismiss this as a stupid miss from Nintendo is a bit too rushesd in my blue eyes. And yes Mel, you are very correct when you say that this particular item would be factored into the overall cost. So to keep Nintendo's famous budget upheld it'll probably have it's share of 'shortcuts'. But one thing I really believe you've missed Mel is that this is Nintendos 'Open Title' (yes, Zelda and Red Steel may be the big names but you can guarantee that every Wii owner will be playing Wii Sports at least once) and thus Wii Sports represents the Wii like no other game does. I have full confidence that Nintendo have done all they could to bring a fun game for all to enjoy, wether it would be the tennis enthusiast or someone like me, a guy who just wants to hit the crap out of a ball.
