News \ Wii Sports - Game of the Year!

There is no possible way to say this enough times: great graphics don't make great games. Perfect Dark Zero looked like a Titian, but it was a snooze. Wii Sports—a mini-sports anthology that includes golf, boxing, tennis, baseball and bowling—looks like Colecovision. The little guys on the screen don't even have arms. But it's hilarious, and it shows off the power of the motion-sensitive Wii controller to put you right in the game, sweating and yelling and trying crazy spins and lunges and angles. The tennis game alone is worth the price of admission. Which is nothing, since it comes free with the Wii.

Yeah even after having the WII since release and playing GT, Zelda and hiring a range of others I got to admit WII sports is definetly the most social and fun game I've played yet but then again I'm waiting for the next installment of mario party

What's you best game then ?

My rating was not just based on game play - but the ability of the whole family and visitors to enjoy. Even Halo has a bit of a steep learning curve - Wii sports it takes about 30 secs and everyone is up and running.

This game is awesome and has been copping a serve from way before it even got released. "the graphics are no good" "the game has no depth" "this game wont last 5 minutes"

And here is is still lots of good fun 2 months on. The only thing here that isnt any good is the predictions and misleading yank opinions and reviews that had us all assuming less of this great game.
