In early April Nintendo registered a trademark for "Wii Fit Plus" in Japan. While the Big N registers hundreds of trademarks, many of them unused, this one has some merit behind it as it has a logo attached to it.
While a logo may not seem like much it makes a big difference in the world of gaming trademarks. It moves it from the "random ideas we've had" category into the "something Nintendo might actually be working on" section.
With E3 kicking off next week should we expect Nintendo to expand our fitness regime?
