News \ Region free Wii

The Vice President of Nintendo marketing, Perrin Kaplan has announced that the Nintendo Wii will be region free. While First Party games will be region free it is the developer of Third Party games who ultimatly gets the choice on whether or not to region lock their games. Hopefully developers will decide not to region lock their products and if a game isn't due for release here in a long time we will be able to import.
