I think that the prices are a little steep. But look at the alternative... oh that's right there isn't... (appart from the illegal way, so yes there is another way). I prefer life without a criminal record.
I've never enjoyed playing street fighter on a P.C... How are you supposed to punch your opposition in the arm??

They've re-released the old LucasArts adventures a while ago for PC, i got Full Throttle and The Dig (which kept resetting a key puzzle).
I reckon they should use the VC to sell games never released in PAL.

I got my wii at launch but only just today got around to hooking up the shop channel. What a bloody rip off, $15 bucks for a n64 game? you can buy a n64 and about 20 games from a pawn shiop for about 35 bucks.

I'll stick to buying xbox live arcade games, atleast they are a reasonable price, way to screw the Aussies over again Nintendo.

Seeing this has made my day i loved all the old pc adventure games .... these sort of games would be perfect for the wii... i seriously hope they bring out some point and click adventure titles even new ones maybe they could start a new character

Manic mansion was ported to the NES and it was a good port, so its very possible that the game will appear on V.C. Personally i'd rather see a day of the tentical sequal made for the wii mote.

If they just ported Day of The Tenticle to the wii they could make a lot money cause seriously id part with 100 big ones to play it again on the wii

At the moment the Wii linup of games (wii titles) is looking rather ill. I think that Nintendo needs to release the big gun VC games like ocarina and mario kart. They need to keep people playing the wii so they can roll out the wii titles whilst people are still playing the wii.

Go get WW for GC and get the OOT bonus disks.

I would, however it seems difficult to find this these days. Even on eBay it sells for rediculously over priced sums of my hard earned dosh... I'll be patient and wait til it comes to VC.

On that, does anyone have any info about any more VC titles to look forward to in the not to distant future?

Get used to it!, if you wanted 480p and ethernet connection it will cost you $100 for a pair of cables that should have been standard. Gold tipped component cables sell at my big w for $14, USB to ethernet cables sell for around $10 at computer shows. Meaning theres at least a 300 percent mark up, did EB take over nintendo?

It is too expensive.... all we are getting for our hard earned is the right to play the games for as long as we own a wii. We cannot trade them in we cannot borrow them to each other.

What im wondering however is if i purchase a game on the wii shop does that give me the right to download a rom on my computer because i have purchased the game? Might be one for the lawyers

In the Wii settings change your country. I would only change it to the UK. Then go to the wiiconnect24 option and except the user agreement.

Go to the shop channel and except the user agreement again. Ok the country change and shop away.

Do the same process to change back to australia.

I kept my games and remaining points

I must stress though. Nintendo will restrict this soon and i would hate to be caught with my console locked to a country or losing my VC points and/or games when they do.

why would it be cheaper? They have to manufacture them, send them to stores and give the retailer some margin in the product. Online is far cheaper for Nintendo.
