The Conduit an upcoming game from High Voltage Studios is one of the most anticipated FPS Games for the Nintendo Wii.

However this game wasn't at first intended for the hardcore market but rather the casual market which has been revealed by Micah Skaritka from High Voltage who said "The whole idea for the game was for the casual market. But as we went on, we realized that there weren’t any first-person shooters on the market with good graphics on the Wii. I think a lot of developers that make FPSs on the Wii say, ‘let’s do this so [the player] can use the Wii shooter’ And it doesn’t work. You lose half your control."

He then also revealed that Nintendo were actually impressed with what they were doing with The Conduit.

So if Nintendo are impressed with the game does that mean we should be to if not already?

The Conduit will be released sometime in 2009.
