Nintendo's VP of Marketing, Perrin Kaplan has informed IGN that the Nintendo Wii will not be able to play DVDs. While this is not unexpected and Nintendo has not suggested that the Wii would be able to play DVDs it is a draw back to "DVD hopefuls". Will this influence your decision in buying a Wii?
