Mario Kart Wii - Matteh - 8/10
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay for Mario Kart Wii is quite a simple one that I am sure anyone can understand without any hassle. Drive fast, collect pick-ups and avoid the nasty drop-offs from other players.
SOUND
The sound for Mario Kart Wii is great. Nice background music and warning sounds from the wiimote work in unison to create a great atmosphere.

CONTROLS
The controls are easy to use, and if you dont like a specific type of controller, you have another four ways to choose from! The total of four are: Wiimote + Nunchuck, Wiimote(with or with out the add-on Wii-L), Classic Controller and finally the Game Cube controller. Thsi allows you to be fully comfortable when playing the game.
The controls for each type of controller are very easy to use aswell, simple button pushing and analog stick moving action with the Wiimote + Nunchuck, CLassic and Gamecube controllers and motion controlled for the Wiimote(with and without the add-on Wii-L).

MULTIPLAYER
The multiplayer is one of the best features of this game. Allows for upto four players to race along side each other. There are a fe types of multiplayer modes that people can play in, the first is just normal race to the finish line, the second is balloon battle mode. This mode requires players to collect pick ups and attempt to pop their opponents ballons, there are three in total so get in quick before they get yours! And finally, the last mode is coin runners. This requires the players to collect pickups AND couns that are scattered around the arena. Players must shoot their pick-ups in order to collect coins of other players.

ONLINE
Online is another great feature in Mario Kart Wii. This allows the player to connect to the WFC and participate in races around the world, either with friends, or with just anyone that happens to be on. Also, online allows you to participate in contests held by Nintendo, which I will explain further. The great thing about Mario Kart Wiis online is that there is hardly any lag too.
PLEASE NOTE: To participate in online, you must own extra products.

EXTRA STUFF:
Wii-L: The Wii-L comes free with the game, so you wont have to go out and purchase one if you would like to play with it. But you will have to purchase more for extra players that desire to use the Wii-L aswell as the game only comes with one. The Wii-L is quite a fun accessory to use with the wiimote, it gives the player the feeling that they are truly driving!
Mario Kart Wii Channel: This can be automaticvally installed into the Wiis system memory as soon as you start your game up. It allows many different things to occur. Some of these are ghost data races, rankings and competitions. Ghost data races is when you can verse the ghost datas from others that they have chosen to upload to the channel. Rankings shows the ranking of different maps of the game, who is the best at it. Competitions arte the most fun part of the Mario Kart Wii Channel, the offer another type of playing. New ones are released regularly and are wuite fun to partake in.

OVERALL
Overall, Mario Kart Wii is a great game and anyone who owns a Wii should consider picking this little beauty up.
