News \ Wii Wheel May Indeed Be Overpriced!

For all those screaming the Wii Wheel is an overpriced hunk of plastic, you may indeed be right. Gamestop in the US has been pimping the wheel for $15USD, but today reports are online saying that the Wheel may only carry a MSRP price of $10USD.

While Nintendo hasn't laid out its official line yet, the info comes from the T&Cs of a Nintendo Power magazine compo.

There are very few games that are truely great on any console.
The three stand out winners on Wii are: Mario Galaxy, SSBB and Mario Kart.
That's not to say there are no other great games on the Wii.
It's just that they don't stand out nearly as much as these three and as such people are willing to go through more to get them or any equipment that goes with them.

Sorry everybody but popularity equals demand and supply and demand is the basis of trade.

If you don't pre-order MK Wii,
You will have to buy the Wii Wheel seperatly.

Anyway I pre-ordered it so I got no problem with this...but it's just a piece of friggin plastic . But I saw two buttons behind it...so maybe it's just another attachment, like the Nunchuk.

I don't care, really. The game itself rocks and I'd probably use my GameCube controller...the one I will use for Mario Kart Wii and the one I will use for Brawl. Does anyone know where I can get Wind Waker for GameCube in Australia?

Waste of money. You just don't need these wheels. They don't do anything except make you look stupid.

I have a wheel, the one that came with GT Pro. I used it twice and refuse to use it again.
