I love metal slug this is awesome..... this game isnt the biggest or the flashiest its just good old fashioned fun..... the wii needs more 2d games im pumped about seeing this one

it's just that is you look at the first pic it says "free play " at the bottom, i thought that would be for arcade machines. And how will this use the remote????

I would asume that you would use the remote on its side... metal slug wouldnt really need all that many buttons... this game is awesome does anyone know a release date

As for free play there may be an option to change it to set credits to increase the difficulty

Why not the wii is charging extra for everything cables controllers the works tell reggie he'll be rapt.

But seriously i think its like a lot of games where you can set it to 3 credits for example or go unlimited it adds to the game when you are limited to the number of lives you have as opposed to just running through everything

I hope that was a joke hehe, when melstorm says for a challenge he mean u have LIMITED lives not unlimited., BTW go to the video section to see a preview of it (on game play). ignore the display pic for the clip in the video section i done a mistake but the clip works fine hehe.

Just about everybody i know was into Metal Slug on the arcades. Should be really good. I'll probably buy the original Arcade 6 button style controller from eb for that one.

This game is rental material, i have this on emulator and its really easy to finish, most likely you wont be playing this again and again. Lasts maybe about 30min??

It can use GC/Classic controller and about 5 different remote/nunchuck combinations, with 3 of those being remote-only.

This is actually all 6 Metal Slug games, so i think it will last more than 30 mins.

It *COULD* run on the GBC. It came out on NeoGeos little hand held!

GBA version is excellent. Greatest platformer for that console. Hope it goes well on the Wii!

I've heard bad reviews about the wii controls for this one, although I think there's about 6 different settings you can choose from (and game reviews tend to be pretty harsh). Anyway way I'm buying it straight up! ... So many hours in the arcades playing metal slug... So much cash.... It will be great to have all the titles on the one disc.

Can't wait for this one!

I remember these games at the arcade. Watched a review of this game on Level 3 (channel 31) and went and bought it. Great for people who like the 2d platforms/retro gaming.

I would love for Nintendo to come out with a arcade controller.

It'll be because you are playing in the "Easy" Setting. Jack it up to Normal or Hard to play the full game.
