Vanguard review - 7/10
EA games have added yet another game to the Medal of Honor series. In it you play as a WWII paratrooper, descending into enemy territory. The game is pretty intense especially when you have surround sound. Like any first person shooter for the Wii you feel like you’re actually in the game.
THE CONTROLS
The gestures with the wiimote are horrible, because when you twist turn or move the wiimote the aimer goes crazy. Unless you use the nunchuck or press the buttons instead. Getting used to the aimer can be hard when you first play, but after a while you'll get used to it.
GRAPHICS
When I plopped this game into my Wii I expected good graphics, but what I got instead was sickening. The graphics looked like something from the early days of the PS2. And I knew they could have been better because I played Call of Duty 3.
GAMEPLAY
This game is incredibly short, but what it lacks in graphics, length and controls it makes up for in fun and intensity. When I first sat down and played this game I couldn't stop and before I knew it was finished.
MULTIPLAYER
A game is only as good as its multiplayer and the multiplayer disappointed me. In multiplayer you play on a tiny map where your opponent respawns right in front of you where you can kill him over and over and over again.
Overall this game was incredibly disappointing but it was so much fun! If you’re thinking about buying this game and you haven't played C.O.D.3 yet. Get call of duty 3 instead. If you have played C.O.D.3 and liked it, you should borrow this, I don't recommend buying it because it's too short.
Controls 5/10
Graphics 5/10
Gameplay 9/10
Multiplayer 7/10
