I'm fairly sure that like with SSBM media releases, they're holding the best secrets for the game while releasing other things to get you interested. e.g. mode customizer, snake, subspace emissary and assist trophies.

If they don't tell us everythign about it, then there is still that element of surprise in it, but also seeing and doing are different things. Seeing it and going "Wow, that will be awesome!" an playing it going "Wow, the power I feel while i'm killing these people as Giga Bowser!" are very different things. I chose sorta.
