Like the real toy guns kids have always played with for the last 100 years or so, have turned everyone into gun-slinging maniacs.

It's idiots teaching kids to hate then giving them REAL guns, such as the AK-47, that's encouragement.

Laws which allow people to own guns and a media which in its need to sell news terrifies people into believing that everyone is out get them, that's encouragement.

Sorry Menzo, not a dig at you personally, just the concept.

It's not a light-gun, Kirbs, it's a Wii-Remote holder.
If the Wii-Remote used light-gun technology, it wouldn't work with LCD or plasma TV technology.

And as for style, this looks like it has more 'style' than the Wii-Zapper but I'll reserve my judgement, and personal preference, until I can actually compare the two for functionality and 'feel'.

I was looking at them at kmart and they actually look more comfortable to hold than the zapper does, even though they are a little uglier lol.

i dont mean to dig up old posts.. but with the wii zapper only getting a 6.5 at ign, im starting to think this might be pretty cool. I work at K-mart and saw these sitting out the back. i didnt get a chance to scan the price, but i had a good look at it and it looks like it might be a little more comfortable than the zapper. i just dont think i like the 'tommy gun' design of the zapper. Thats just me. I'm gonna probably buy one of these, and ill let you guys know how it is... but if its crap ill just return it. Kmart is pretty good like that

I have been trying to configure mine as well so I xcan change the shooting button but havent found how yet

I got mine from Kmart $20 I think

you can use it with far cry but is very hard as you have to flick it to jump wich means you relaod at the same time

It also works with some shooting games that came with the wii

only good with the likes of call of duty 3 and umbrella chronicles, too messy with red steel with the goldeneye movements just no point in using it. Coz i have it my honets opinion is its really better for you guys to get a light gun or something that has the shoot button resembling ( and performing) like a trigger or its just a waste of money.

I use it for Raving Rabbids, Ghost Squad, Umbrella Chronicles (Difficult to dodge attacks), Splinter Cell, Geometry Wars: Galaxies (Yes it's fun)... Playing HeatSeeker using professional style control setting is fun too, just hold it like you're a 4 year old running around with a plastic fighter jet

The shootouts in Rabbids is the best... You can reload your 'shotgun' one-handed terminator 2 stylez..

There needs to be one that has an optional extension that presses the A button instead of the B button for the trigger. THEN I'd be able to use the Zapper or even this thing properly for Resident Evil 4!
