There is no description soooo.......
This bar goes on top of your tv (any tv, plasma, rear pro, LCD or just a plain everyday tv.)
And what it does is it sensors where the wii-mote is and what it is doing therefore making the wii-mote possible.

Clean, simple, elegant, and beautiful. The wire is so small and so long you can just drop it behind your tv and forget about it. Btw its just some ir leds. Only wire going to the wii is too power the leds. They relay absolutely no info back to the wii. The wiimote just needs the leds so it knows where its at.

Hope they come out with an IR sensor that will increase the Wii-mote range rather more than 3 meters to something like 6 meters. This would really help specially with games like tennis. Can you imagine 4 players on a play area of 3 meters!! omg! Id watch my head or back if my team mate was serving hahaha.
One more thing, there are two IR Sensors on the Bar, maybe they can split this into two bars. first bar for players 1 and 3 and the other for players 2 and 4. By doing so, you can increase the senson angles and have more playing space left and right.

I had some electromagnetic spectrum friends but they were real b@$^@&!$. I hate them. P.S. The Sensor Bar is one of the best accessories for the Wii, including the Wiimote and the Wii.

Yes, you mail-order them from Nintendo, or buy one of several third-party solutions.

You know, if your sensor bar keeps falling down, why not use some sticky tape or Blu-tac? Blu-tac (or however you spell it) is really good for keeping sensor bars still.

it has tape tabs on bottom did you know .and the little stand has tape tabs on it too

Ehrah... That reminds me, I'm prolly gonna have to invest in a back up one of these. The stands stuck down well and good, but the actual thing keeps bungee jumping every so often, blue tac or no. I'm such a klutz!

You probably threw out your litte yellow piece of paper with the stickers, huh? I used those double sided tape things and now I can't even get my sensor bar off. I guess it will have to stay where it is :|

The Wii would be nothing without the sensor bar. Without the sensor bar you'd be sitting there Trying to aim a gun in Red steele, or Trying to bash up a shop keepper in The godfather . And the Wii wouldnt Do anything Cause it would just be sitting there waiting for a signal from the sensor bar.

Also none of this makes any sense because you cant plug a candle into the wii

You don't NEED to plug a candle into a Wii. The Wiimote detects inferred signatures, like those given off by the heat of a candle. When plugging the bar into the Wii it emits inferred of it's own for the Wiimote.

Also, most of the controls in The Godfather are motion sensitive to the Wiimote, and nothing to do with a pointer, so most of the game could be played without the bar, you only wouldn't be able to my your own aim.
