Strikers, how can you not love it? - 10/10
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Mario Strikers Charged, a new game that has been a big hit throughout the world. It's just plain fun, a little complicated, but if you aren't good, or if your a pro, you can still enjoy this game to a great amount.
I had never played a Mario Football game before in my life, and was not sure whether i should spend almost All of my money on this game, but i had heard good things, and dare i say it, there are not many games that i personally think are actually worth $100. But this game, was well worth the money.

Graphics:
Well, as i say in most things, it's not good or bad, just good or bad in comparison to another. If you don't have another thing to compare it to, then it is neither good nor bad, but simply the standard. Anyway as most Wii Games, these low powered devices sure do pack a punch.
The first thing that captures your attention of the pure beauty of the game design would have to be the introduction for the game. The graphics in these are amazing, i would have mistaked them for something of a 360 or some other (crappy) powerful console. But to see this starting screen really not only showed me the amazing graphics and ability of the game, but made me just more excited to get further.
But in-game is another thing. Just looking at the screen during gameplay was awesome, There wasn't any lag, and the visuals amazed me. Then someone did a mega-strike, and god! did it look nice.
With stunning Graphics, who couldn't turn this down.

Gameplay:
Hard to figure out what fits in here, the game was great, and the gameplay, the whole idea of it was awesome. I love soccer (football whatever) and loved to see a game like this on the wii. Little things like how there was slow motion at certain times, and the ability to swap characters was great.
I thought it would have been nice to have a bit more control over the goal keeper though in more situations other then Saving Mega-strikes. The options were very sleek. The items were a really interesting part, the better i get at the game, the more i use them, you need to learn how to use them when and why, then you have really got an advantage.
I enjoyed being able to choose whether you wanted to play by a time limit, or whether you wanted to play first to 'whatever' goals. Choosing computer levels, and some cheats too, they all make differences to the game, which is good because it's nice to have a variety of game styles. Especially when playing computers as the same thing can become boring.
In-game problems, such as objects flying through the screen, giant lava balls, i hated this personally, i always enjoyed choosing the Vice because it was such a simple level where obstacles weren't every 4 steps. Gameplay was really great, I thought it might be too different, but it was truly wonderful.
Different from most games, the gameplay is really awesome.

Sound:
Maybe not the subject that i can write a whole lot on. But i am a music fan, i play some music, it is one of my favorite aspects of games, and believe without it, the game is nothing, i have half my music playlist filled up with music from Nintendo games and other things by video games through the gaming industry.
Not much i really have noticed with sound in this game though, but the one thing i did notice was the mad music at the start of the game in the amazing intro. Just the way it was made, and those amazing graphics i talked about above, really made it maybe the best intro for a game i have ever seen.
During gameplay it didn't excite me that much, not really that much to listen to most of the time, great still. Although the one thing that i love as well, was the music that came in as soon as sudden death started, the loud rock, like the intro, really makes it fun, and tenses you up more.
Couldn't be where it was without Nintendo's Library of music

Controls:
A great part, this was truly the new things in the game, and what i thought really made it fun. Passing with A seemed easy as it was semi-auto, B to shoot the ball, or charge it, go in Mega-strike. The most simple, but yet elegant and helpful controls i've seen in most games.
It may take a while to get used to, and i know it took me quite a while to become 100% comfortable with the whole control scheme, it was nice to see it changed over from when you don't have the ball to when you do, one is sidestep, then the next time it is a slide tackle. Each character with their own ability....genious.
Didn't get to see much motion sensing in the game except if you shook the remote a little bit and you were near a player you would tackle them, which although you may get the ball, gives them an item, but if you can score, it's a great idea, i like being evil and tackling a lot.
Sensor Bar? more then the motion, actually, no not really. If you don't include the basic things like selecting options from the menu etc, then yes you do use it a lot, but the only thing i really can remember in the game, would be saving mega-strikes, which seemed fairly easy, until someone shoots the fast ones at you...
Controlling an awesome game, with an awesome controller

Wi-Fi:
First Wii game with Wi-Fi, this game was really a benchmark in the Nintendo Wii's history. It at first seemed wierd, today i still don't get some of it, playing other people online i believe is still one of the most enjoyable things you can do with a video game to this day, the thrill of playing other people over the world is great.
Lag, this would have to be the only downside, and i can't really call it that as it is in pretty much all games these days, but sometimes (especially with my wii, as it's on the cutout point) it would lag an absolutely incredible amount until it lost the connection, which really sucked, as you had just put up with all that lag.
Something i found pointless was choosing home/away, it was really the first person to press home was the happy one, everyone loves home, i don't know why, kinda funny hehe. But once you got into the game it was like most others, same controls, same thing, just a bit of lag, and a hell of a lot more fun!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion:
Wow, summing it all up. Never enjoyed a wii game more, zelda may come close, but no wii game that i will love for a long time to come. Most games are either amazingly fun, but last short times, or boring, but last a while, this one, i believe, has become both of those.
Never played a game like this in my life, so simple, so awesome. Graphics, sound, all fall together to bring this game to life. Truly a game like no other, with little flaws, and complete customizations of options, choose your own team, your own sidekicks, each with ability's, so you don't often run into the same thing. This game, would be one of my top recommendations.
There aren't many games i say are worth $100, but this, is well worth the money
10/10
