Wii Sports - 8/10
I'm suprised no one has done this yet.
Obviously, it has 5 different types of sports, all of which you use your Mii. Wii Sports uses a skill point system. The higher you are, the tougher opponents you will face. 1000 points make Pro.
Tennis: Tennis is probably the most addictive one out of all of them, and it's so easy to learn too. The Miis control themselves so all you have to do is swing. The good thing about it is you actuallu have to change for backhand and forehand. Personally, I would've like an option to move them, maybe with the Nunchuck. The worst part about tennis is that you always seem to have the most retarded partner in the world, and your opponent is god. Another downside is that you always have to play doubles, it can never be singles.
Baseball: My favorite. Though you can only pitch and bat, it's still fun. Batting is just that, batting. Swing the remote. Simple. Pitching is a little more advanced, allowing you to do fastballs, screwballs, curveballs and splitters. The bad part is the team you get. I don't mean in batting, I mean fielding. Simple catches are often dropped, allowing the opponent to get doubles, and sometimes triples.
Bowling:The most realistic. Bowling is simple, hold B, then bowl like you normally would, and twist your wrist to put spin on the ball.(Unfortunately I always do that...). This is heaps more fun with more people.
Golf: Yeah na I'm not a big fan of this one. The club is too sensitive, swing the remote rarely any and it goes crooked. And trying to do short putts. *shivers* It dosen't pick it up, so you do it harder, it picks that up though, and belts it. Frustrating...veeery frustrating.
Boxing: I like this one. You hold the Remote in one hand and the Nunchuck in the other, and simply punch them forward. Boxing is viewed from your backside, and your Mii is transparent, so you can see your mii and the enemy. Theres also heaps of dodging and blocking manouvres too. Only problem is towards 1000 skill points, CPUs get abnormally hard. And sometimes the sensor dosen't pick up punches.
Aside from the sports, there is also a fitness test and a training mode. Training mode has minigames on all the sports to help you learn various skills. The Wii Fitness test determines your fitness age by picking random ones of those minigames. After 3 I think, it will tell you your fitness age, with 20 being the best.(80 being the worst). These tests are designed for adults, however, so kids may not get accurate results.
Overall Score:8/10
The games are fun, but dodgy CPUs and problems with the sensor can be annoying.
