Classic Controller: a Moose review - 7/10

This controller in ways is innovative but still in some ways it sucks. this controller is great for playing certain Virtual Console games but some games have the controls messed up and makes it difficult to play with. another bad thing to thing controller is there is no wings to it (handles) which make it feel like you're playing with a bar of soap. with some games it is easier to play with the GC controller or just a Wii-mote.

The first problem sets in with the classic controller when you try to play an NES game. the classic Controller has buttons A, B, X, and Y the original NES controller only had A and B so there is more buttons to press than you need while playing an NES so Nintendo gave the X button the same functionality as the A button and the Y button got the same functionality as the B button during an NES game. this becomes a problem because you press the jump rather than attack and you may die and lose your game. another annoyance when playing NES with the CC (Classic Controller) is the joysticks. sometimes the Joysticks are way too sensitive to which way you're pointing it and so sometimes.

many buttons for most games on the Virtual Console don't use all the buttons so all they do is annoy you and occasionally mess up your game. the most unused buttons must be ZR ZL. I have only counted one game so far which uses these buttons that is Super Mario 64. the control stick and camera stick are easy to get confused too. these problems are usually only occur within the first week or so that you buy so no need to worry this is not a complete waste of money. the Classic Controller's controls are much, much easier use with most games so I would strongly suggest buying it. I would recommend buying this controller.
