The classic controller some would say is one of a kind and I think nintendo have tricked some into thinking they need this controller well let me tell you, YOU DON'T!!!! unless of course you want to play turbo graphix games is a minority of the market. The classic controller is just a stylish accessory for those people who don't mind spending a bit extra for something that looks good. But don't get me wrong the classic controller is a nice piece of hardware it offers wireless gameplay when you plug it into your wiimote but then you need somewhere to put your wiimote while you play super mario64...etc and the Nyko classic controller grip will fix that problem but you'll have to pay another 15-20 bucks which adds a bit to the price of your classic controller. The other alternative to the classic controller is of course the gamecube controller so anyone that own a gamecube sorted just use that but due to the gamecubes extremely short cable you'll find it hard to sit on the couch and after you die trying to beat the last boss in Zelda: OoT and pull your hands to your face in dismay meanwhile accidentely pull the wii right of the shelve or whatever its sitting on. As you go to the post office to mail your wii to nintendo and hope that the warranty will cover it your gonna stop by at eb to grab yourself a classic controller. So all in all the classic controller is a useful accessory considering the price of a wireless gamecude controller at the present time but with the wii coming out wireless gamecube controllers are gonna drop in price and besides theres no rush to play VC games theres not many good ones now and the wii shop isn't gonna run out of stock. So my advice is to sit back and what till the wavebird controller comes down in price. The one problem you have left is the fact that if you want your controller to look stylish then your gonna have to spray paint it white and hope it doesn't mess with the electronics. Thats Wii-Fans view on the classic controller P.S. I realise the punctuation isn't great but cut me some slack its my first review
