Nintendo Wii - 8/10

The Nintendo wii was announced in E3 2006 and was set to be released in Australia in 2006.
This gaming console was different to other consoles.
Because of the control method, no it ain’t the same control look as the 360 and Ps3.
Behold the wii remote and nun chuck ,with the wii remote is used for all games.
Its enjoyable when you use the wii remote its like your playing tennis, bowling golf or swinging a sword.
Its makes you feel your in the game and that’s why I enjoy the so much.
You actually swing the wii remote to do something in the game their aint much button mashing which I find good.
Not only its fun but its very cheap compared to the other consoles its only 400 bucks or less now.
It comes with the wii console, cables, wii remote, nun chuck and a game called wii sports which includes 5 sport games: tennis, bowling, golf , baseball and boxing and this is when the nun chuck comes in.
The nun chuck isn’t useable in all games just in some like adventure games or fps eg: red steel, LOZ TP, COD 3 and more.
As shown below the wii remote has quite some buttons : the D-Pad, power button, A button , plus button, minus button, 1 button and 2 button, the back there is a B button and finally the Home button.

Features: The wii is so different to other consoles in many ways.
When you start up your wii you will go to the wii menu which has channels each have different names they are.
Mii channel: You can make a person as many times as you like and make a mii parade.
News channel: Check out the latest news around the globe.
Forecast channel: Check the weather around the globe.
Wii shop channel: Download new channels, updates, VC games and wiiware games which cost wii points they can be bought from shops or by credit cards.
Mii contest: Enter your mii in competitions and see other peoples creations.
Nintendo Channel: Watch videos and download NDS demo games.
Internet Channel: Surf the net but this one isn’t free.500 Wii points.
Photo channel: Upload your pictures onto your wii.

You can also receive messages from Nintendo or from your friends by adding your wii number and add theirs.
Yes there is online gameplay but only some but their will be more online games in the future don’t worry online gaming on the wii is free.

Games :There are plenty of games on the wii but people say most of them are kiddy games which I don’t agree on if they say wii sucks no one likes it well wii has sold more than the 360 and Ps3.
With games like Legend of Zelda TP, MP3 ,Galaxy, paper Mario and more.
The wii does have some entertaining games and will make more good games to keep use happy.

Overall: The wii is a great console but the name may sound wrong but doesn’t make a difference.
With new controls the wii is bringing gaming to a whole new level.
The only let down is the line up of the games but their are only some good games.
