Comfortable and Very Helpful - 10/10

The golden jewel handed down from the gods themselves.

I think this would be the only thing I can honestly say Nintendo has running for them. Maybe I'm old fashion and I like to control a game with both of my hands on the same piece of hardware.

I'm used to bulky, and heavy controllers and I love them so. This controller is light and much smaller than any other controller I own, yet I seem to love the way my hands form around it.

Now the question is, Is this controller better than the Gamecube controller?

In my opinion, the classic controller is a MUCH better feel and it's much easier on the thumbs.

Now to back up my reasoning I'll give you an example why.



Ok look at this image for a second and tell me if you can figure out what I believe is the worst feature of the Gamecube Controller. Here's a hint, it's yellow and it's so small it's almost like pushing around a pimple. Not to mention the lack of the Wii Menu Button.

The C stick is so much easier to use with the Classic Controller and in games like Super Smash Brothers Brawl it could mean the difference between an accidently missed smash attack or a glorious triumph by sending someone so far out they can no longer see the ground.

The buttons on the Classic controller are also in a much better setup for those of us who can afford more than one system, since we're most accustom to the 4-button Diamond.

The Classic Controller is definitly a comfortable, cheap, loveable piece of joystick love. It's shape and it's buttons are in the form for the human hand. I tell ya I used to get blisters from using the Gamecube controller in fighting games, but playing fighting games with the Classic Controller, well my thumbs thank me and yours will too with it's soft-edge joysticks.
