Link's Back In Action ! - 10/10

Twlight Princess was being hailed as the showcase title for the wii on launch night, but its also slated for gamecube duty aswell. Oddly, the two version is reportedly on sepreate discs, and gamers will have to decide to buy one or the other. clearly the wii has the wii and its motion-sensor based controls is the superior option,but both cross familiar narrative territory its follows a tale about yet another unkown hero named link . this time he's a teenager who resides in a small village just outside hyrule , where he helps raise goats.

The goat herd setup actually serves as a way to get to get players familiar with the inital gameplay mechanics for basic character movement and riding on horse back, which will figure prominentry in the game. The Visual Style is radically differant from any other zelda game , especially the anime influenced predecessor " Wind Waker ". the Tone is darker than previous zelda games and mature, in keeping with the new aged-up link character.

the unassuming wrangler is thrust into climactic events as hyrule is threatened by an eerie twlight which is consuming the land. Entire sections of the countryside are being transformed into dead. Grey areas by the creeping unknown force and strange, porcine boar riders appear and begin to terrorise the area. This is where the familiar Green-suited heroics begin to take shape .

the dark riders disappear into the gloom, which actually represents a gateway into another world. Much like the "The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the past", worlds of light and dark are coliding and now link has to find out why. However, when he enters the gloom he suddenly becomes a wolf. This Lycanthropic transformation causes the gameplay to take on new dimensions. Since he has no hands or speech, you have to figure out new ways to get things done. Luckily you have heightened animal senses such as speed, vision and smell. In the dark world you hook up with mysterious ally named midna. She appears to be a Guy lol but shes not, and also she appears to help you, but you become quickly aware that she's working for her own agenda, too.

I spent some well used Time to get The Main Controls to My own use , testing out the wii controls bring out the real link experiance. The Shield Block and Strike Mechanic are very cool. You have the "z" button on your nunchuck controller to raise your shield in defense and literally swing the wiimote with your right hand to slash with your sword in a similar fashion to red steel. The Wiimote fuctions Are Quite Simple and you'll Pick them up easily during gameplay, you will also have Navi the fairy as your on screen cursor in the game. Beaware that Navi is Not in the actuall game.

Twlight Princess Is a bona fide hit taking the world by storm with millions of copies sold in only 3 months of sale. the vaunted series is set to submerge us in another epic adventure cross between beutifully rendered lands and via a memoralble cast of characters. if you could only afford one game at the momement and you just bought your wii i suddgest you take a chance and buy a game that is set to be a classic and last years...
