Dont Buy! - 2/10

For one of the first car games released on the Wii you would come to expect the game to be in relative high quality and excellent motion control, setting the stage for a whole new generation in car racing.

WHAT A TOTAL FLOP!

It has been rated 2nd worst game ever to come out of the Wii (just behind Far Cry Vengeance) by nintendowiifanboy.com and you can see why.

Yes I will admit I bought the game ($95.99!!!) in hopes that it would be a great game in which my mates would come over n have fun. They had fun alright, laughing and mocking at this total garbage of a game.

Graphics 2/10
The graphics on the game is nowhere neared acceptable for a Wii game. It something u would expect to come from the 64 over 5 years ago.

Sound/Music 2/10
The sound is a total lacking which doesn’t make u feel like your in the game. There is no music present in any of the races except at the finish line where u hear the same music congratulating u on ur performance, no matter which place.

Controls 3/10
It took 10 minutes to get the hang of the steering with the new wii remote design, then pretty much any1 can play, no great ability needed to drive a car here. Easy left easy right, swear I heard that 10 years ago in the arcade.

Game play 2/10
Theres no opisition. Once the race starts it is already over as your car is somehow 1 and ½ times faster than all the other cars. Where is the fun in that? Your left with the rest of the 3-5 laps bored, going around and nearly overtaking the last placed car.

This game is valued at a whopping $95.99 and really speaking, why would u pay for that. Need for Speed Carbon totally dominates this game and is far cheaper. You can definitely see this game tossed into the 2 games for $50 pretty soon. The controling will definately be used again and hopefully a better game can make the wii remote more impressive.

As for me, I traded it back and with the $35 (Yes only owned it for 1 week!!!!) I got for the game, bought the Godfather and saved my gaming dignity.
