High Voltage Won't Say No to Conduit Port & Considering the DS

If The Conduit is popular enough High Voltage Software won't rule out the possibility of porting it to the PS3 & Xbox 360. However, due to the game being designed with the Wii in mind High Voltage's David Pellas believes it wouldn't be an easy game to port. He also admits that the developer has discussed a DS title.

In an interview with C3 Pellas was asked about the possibility of porting The Conduit to other platforms. "As to porting the game to the other platforms, I wouldn’t say it would be impossible but it would be very difficult. We built our Quantum3 technology and gameplay around the Wii hardware. Graphics aside, there are things that the Wii can do that the other consoles simply can’t. So I won’t say no to a port, but I will say that it would not be as simple as you may think. We are a very diverse company and our technology never sits idle…who knows what the future will bring."

He was also asked about the possibility of The Conduit making its way to the Nintendo DS. Developers haven't been too successful with FPS games on the handheld, but Nintendo showed it's possible with their own Metroid Prime Hunters. Pallas said "I won’t deny that is something being discussed, but we have no plans for a DS version of The Conduit at this time."
